Competitive Green Technologies was founded in December 2011 with the mission of reducing global dependence on non-renewable resources and making lightweight and biomaterials solutions. We achieve this by creating innovative approaches to cost that, in turn, moved us to embark on a strategy of manufacturing bio-composite resins. We utilize a variety of ‘waste’ or under-valued biomass materials to reduce cost and mitigate the supply risk of being dependent only on a few biomass streams without compromising performance. Our unique biomass technology is transferable to different crops and geographies worldwide. Our company has created a successful and thriving local ecosystem of collaboration between the end-customers, mold-makers, molders, farmers, and the University of Guelph. It is this eco-system that allows us industry-leading ideation-to-store shelves turnaround times to ensure application needs are met with our lightweight and bio-composite resins, and we at CGTech take full responsibility of the end-product delivery to our customers.
