Company Description
NantBioRenewables is an innovative bioplastics company with the goal of providing simple solutions to the complex problems that arise with single use plastics waste. We utilize Ocean Calcium SandTM in our formulations, which is a naturally precipitated form of CaCO3 from the waters of the Bahamas. This unique mineral is biogenic in nature, renewable, and sustainable. With this mineral at the core of what we do, we then formulate compounds and products that are sustainable, compostable, and very high in biobased content. While currently working with industrial compostable formulations, there is ongoing work to develop backyard or marine compostable products to address end of life concerns with the single use waste stream.
